Field Day was the next day, Friday and both girls were on the gray team this year! We got more prepared this time with swimsuits and towels and extra clothes and shoes.
I was playing the organ (for the very first time) at the Larsen funeral and so I had a short amount of time to watch field day...... Camilla's class was out at the field first.
Camilla has had substitutes on field day both years but she loved this sub. She had the best smelly stickers and was especially nice.
Their first event was the shoe relay.... because the are all missing one shoe.
Alivia's class came out a bit late but they still got wet enough....

Camilla's group moved on to the save the animals. She said that this one was her favorite one of the day.

I wanted to watch Milla go through and she was one of the last in line and I knew my time was short... but I waited and then hurried to the car (and was able to see her go again through the gate) and with a few prayers made it to the church in record time for prelude.
They came home tired and happy in their dry clothes.
