Saturday morning we were ready to work... but we didn't know how much work we were going to get done. We were talking about the bushes and were just done with them... so we decided to take out the middle one.
That seemed much better.... after a ride around the block Chad looked at all the houses that didn't have bushes as well and figured we would be safe to take them all out.... so we went for it.
Chad also pulled out the stump of the tree that had been long cut away.... he was ready to go for it but it didn't take long at all.
We started the kids on tearing out the other bushes.. they had talked of in n out and ice cream so we said when you're done with the bushes. They got to work.
Liv kicked it down. Camilla cut it down and dug away.
Luke dug around the old stump.
A shovel was sacrificed....
success.... picking up all the pieces.
and it looked so different without the bushes and made us much happier.
and the bribe was fulfilled... the kids all like to go inside because they thought that was the only place you could get stickers. We asked for stickers in the drive thru and they also gave them hats. Great excitement.
