It's Great to Be 88.

 Grandpa Great is 88!

Since his birthday was on a Saturday we could celebrate on the actual day!  We have a birthday lunch party over at his house.  Kimber decorated super cute. 

 

After a delicious bbq we saw how much we knew about Grandpa.... We didn't do too bad. 

We played pin the wheel on the truck. 

Present time. 

Luke was very excited about Grandpa's presents... I have weights!

Checking out the candy... sugar free candy of course. 

The kids made cards for Grandpa.  

Grandpa had them hang up their cards on the window. 

Then it was pie time... 

Camilla had a good picture day. 

Tradition. 

Chad and I ran off to our ward temple time and the water balloons came out.  Luke was so excited to hear this and insisted that he bring his.... I think because he feels we never do enough... but the Olsen's know how to do water balloons well!

Strong boy..... ha. 

and then the fun began... 

Grandma is usually safe because she has the camera.... this one is fun. 

Luke didn't know that camera rule either....

from these pictures the kids do not realize that Grandpa always retaliates.  

so does Grandpa Great... ha. 

When we got home Grandpa told us that Camilla just got in the ice chest and shut it... Camilla didn't agree on that story..... Alivia said "it didn't shut all the way."

There was some spinning and drying off...

We got home from the temple and found tired kids.  They had so much fun and we'd call that a successful birthday party.
