Swim Lessons.

This week is seems like we have been at the pool a lot because Luke started his swim lesson.  It was fun because we turned around and Sister Holmes-Gull was there with her granddaughter Marci and then we turned the other way and Ms. Granil from school is there with her daughter.  It's a small world.

Luke was pretty excited.  We went and picked out goggles for him and he just likes to hold them in his hand... not wear them.  He can see in the water just fine....... yeah.

Luke reacted how I always expected Camilla too.  He would not go over the first time so I walked over with him and moved my way away. Then he was fine.

Using the kickboard across.. he thinks we need lots of kickboards now.  But we do practice our "kick board" kicks.

The girls started swim team on Tuesday and it was Camilla's first time. She's been very excited to be big and start.  We are loving their teacher.  He is really nice and made them swim.  No getting off early because it was the first day.. and they swam.  He also showed them how to do somethings so we are excited.

A pool friends joined us this year at swim team which made it extra fun.

Alivia was put in the old lane so she gets to play with the big kids which is great.  Camilla's lane was a little congested and they didn't understand completely how to manage it all together.  So they would start out and kick and push each other... she would look and all of a sudden you could tell she kicked it up a notch and was off.  She's a bit of a competitor and was ready to beat those boys... that are definitely older than her.

They were excited to watch and practice turns.... so they're ready to race.

We're excited for a good year of swimming and practicing... and Luke entertained himself well while waiting for the girls.  It also helped that the construction on the building is really happening at the time.
