We had talked about it. and she was still not a fan of the idea... but she did come out from under the bench. So Cody said he would take her out and she gave him this face.... So I tried to bribe her... "we can go to chick-fil-a or wherever you want for dinner..."
and then she tried to run... and so I grabbed her and told her it would be fun! or something.
Luke thought it was pretty funny.... Chad asked if he wanted to go and he said no. Then he didn't think it was funny anymore.
Cody got all ready and I threw her out....
She tried to swim back but Cody grabbed her....
Cody helped her get ready and set... and she kept crying.
READY! She calmed down a bit once she knew it was happening...

a slight smile... or at least relaxation of her frown.

He showed her how to drop the rope... and then he grabbed her and they sunk slowly and nicely.
I'd call that a smile.....
She got a few horn honks and cheers. Grandma said a happiness necklace is yours! and she was happy about that....
A little bit later she said "What did you say about chick-fil-a?" I knew that she would remember. Worth it.
She held on to the side handle and “wakeboarded” all the rest of the day.
