The ABC Family: The Helpers are Here.

After some family pictures and cooling off they the kids were ready to go again. Since it was so choppy it seemed the thing to do.

And then Dad saw a hand raise up in the water.... so we slowed down and found our friend Jacob (Joshua if you ask some) floating on a huge branch (as our friend was quite huge) in the middle of the lake without a life jacket..... So we picked him up... they had parked the houseboat and got off the boat to check out the beach or something and in the wind the house boat floated away....

So.... he found a branch and went after the boat... he thought he had been out for about an hour and a half already. We had seen the house boat out and about and wondered why it was just out floating but figured people do weird things.... and they do... so we got him in and drove him over to his boat.

"is that what you guys would have done?" no....

The houseboat had run into an area and been stopped... and thankfully it wasn't a rock either...

so we just dropped him off... and he put the hammer down and drove it back...

Luke was ready to come in after but the girls stayed out.

We then went over to our new friend's family to see if they were ok as they had nothing on the beach with them... they were excited to find he was fine and on his way back... so we brought them back on and dropped them off on the houseboat.

We decided we needed to go and find the branch so that we didn't have to save the person that ran into it... or cause someone else a problem... we had seen it on the way back to his family and it took a minute finding it the other way but we found it.
