All Summer Goals Met.

We hurried from open house to the pool and the kids changed their swimsuits in the car so that they could have the most time they could.  Our other friends go to school across the street so they beat us there. 

A week before we didn't think we were meeting our summer goals... but that last week was swimming magic. 

- Luke did the swim test... went off the diving board and down the slides.

-The last day Emma went off the diving board- of her own accord and even smiled.... 

Our last goal was for Camilla to go down the orange slide... I asked her about every swim day if she was going to go down the orange slide.  She is a fan of the yellow... but did not think the orange was fun, but scary.  Having gone down the orange myself I can't say it was terribly fun so I couldn't blame her. 

Luke thinks the orange slide is fun... and may have gone down it more than the yellow. 

Luke went and did his swim test first and got a blue wristband and did a good enough job.. and then went down everything... and floated, bobbed, slowly swam to the edge.... he did make it just fine... he was just taking his sweet time. 

Alivia...

just going again... i'm fine. 

and then I heard screams and looked over to find Camilla come off the orange slide.. 

All goals accomplished!  So that was when I came to take pictures. 

and she went again and again... and even likes the orange slide now... she also really enjoys screaming all the way down. 

And so we called it a successful summer.
