The Best Day Ever.

They are working on the park... leveling and digging and watering... 

Grandma and Luke watched for awhile before walking around to the park. 

The truck waved and honked at them as he drove away....

Playing... 

After playing they went over and looked at the fire station and the cool old fire truck and the dogs. 

From the World Trade Center. 

They walked over and found the hose hooked up to the fire hydrant and water tower. 

Then they got closer and watched.  

Then the worker asked if they wanted to come inside... "Are we allowed to?"  So they went inside and he told them it usually takes about 15-30 seconds to fill up the water truck but it was taking about 12 minutes here.... so he had some time.... 

and asked Luke if he wanted to sit in the truck. 

Shutting it off...

and then he got back to work...

and then they waved again to the trucks on their way back in. 

Luke was thrilled to say the least. He's told us all about the truck and how the worker lifted him into the truck even though it had stairs that he used.  Who knew construction could be so fun.
