A Whole Hand Birthday.

Luke turned 5 on a Friday.

The girls helped him wake up a little bit.. and he was right awake which is not usually the case.  He had chosen Lucky Charms for his cereal.. and Camilla thought that was a good idea too.  They ate it most of Friday.

He was ready to open his presents.

Just a few days before he told me that he needed a new helmet....

He was excited for a new cash shirt... and was trying to figure out how and where I got a bigger one.

Camilla helped him set up his new Rubble toy.

and shared Lucky Charms for breakfast while Livy ran away from the smell.

Obviously his shirt of choice... and most days since.

After we dropped off the girls he played and played with Rubble and cutting the sand and had some more Lucky Charms too.

Brought it with us when we went to pick up the girls too...

Grandpa had saved a cake he picked up for the birthday kids to have after school.  It had a few flavors so these two chose chocolate.

Our ward Christmas party was that night and we helped out a bit... and had some jobs.  Luke and Camilla stood at the door and welcomed people.  Luke greeted them by saying "It's my birthday!"  Alivia said that some believed them and others didn't... and then I had a few ask me if it was really his birthday.  If they asked how old he was he would show them a hand but his thumb was tucked close to his hand... so they weren't exactly sure how old.  He didn't understand why they didn't get a whole hand easily.  Luke and milla enjoyed being greeters.

The primary sang "Away in a Manger" and Liv played for them.

They visited Santa and Mrs. Claus, our favorite Perkins.

Alix made a video for the program.. and the kids part is cute.
San Miguel Christmas Video. press play.

Vacuumers.

We had just done the lights and so the kids were excited to take a picture... they were straightened a bit the next day but we didn't take another picture.

and the newly 5 year old went straight to bed happily.
