Friday night, which was also Nadine's birthday we had the McIntire/Webb Christmas party. It felt a little empty without Mac but we had a great time and thought of him especially while wearing our crowns.
You would think after our years of practice with poppers that we would be better...
Crowns and jokes.
Camilla figured out her magic trick.
Luke has been dreaming of a lock ever since Camilla got one from her friend for her birthday... so he was set with his own lock.
The kids got to work on the games after delicious chinese food with nothing in the fried rice... english is probably hard. ha.
Luke was so excited to open presents... and continued to ask and ask and ask.
"ooh i like these." he probably could have just played with these trucks and been happy.
The kids ate candy to their hearts delight too.
For a couple years there we couldn't have monkeys... or flying monkeys... or loud balloons.. or lots of things because Livy hated them. We are proud to say she can now handle the squealing balloons and flying monkeys.
Nadine said this was for Chad because it took some concentration and effort. He did get it.
He got it too..
This was a new fun one...
Rudolph shooters.
We had chocolate pie for Nadine's birthday and even blew out a candle.
Camilla helped serve the pie.
After a little more playing it was present time. For some reason the kids thought they could start and they started... but we caught them after opening one and half...
They got some fun things.
Camilla decorated herself throughout the evening.
Camilla and Luke watched closely while she opened her present... and they pointed out people in the picture too.
Another great year. We sure love Nadine!
