I had made an appointment for the House of the Lord in Fort Lauderdale a long time ago. We were a bit early but figured we would go and see. You catch a glimpse through the trees before you drive and then the whole thing looks fake. Whatever it's made out of is beautiful.
Chad and Alivia changed clothes in the car and Camilla and Luke geared up to walk around. Camilla was ready to pose for awhile.
We were California drivers... and acted like California drivers at times.
This picture shows Luke's usual running stance.
I said I don't know that you should touch those.. but it was too late.
Luke really wanted to hold the keys... which he did for a bit.
We walked them up to the door.
Chad and Liv.
Chad, Liv, Camilla
we added Luke in too...
There was a separate baptistry entry at the front... as they walked in Camilla ran up and gave Liv a big hug. Then skipped back. She is very excited for when she gets to go to the temple.
And then we went walking around... It was nice and sunny with a cool breeze.
As we touch the temple...
....The temple touches us...
Still guarding his key.
He was ready to go to the car and did not want to walk around to the lake...
copy cat.
We went back out front and Luke was not very happy... but he was holding the key and walked around...
He started walking on this thick ledge in between the bushes... and half way in he fell through the whole in the bushes...
He was not very happy.... and I walked on the ledge out to him.
Then we headed over to the car to wait and pretty quick they were out. The people inside were kind and got them through in between two big wards. It's always fun to see how different temples look inside and how they operate.
Who would have thought temple #2 for Liv would be Fort Lauderdale... not me!
