Family Writing Project.

Sister Holmes-gull asked if I remembered the family writing project that she did and she said she the Harris' did it too.  I did indeed remember it because I worked the nights that they went.  She shared how sweet it was for Angela to have C.J.'s writings because it wasn't too long after that he passed.

Anyway... she was ready to do one for our ward.  We were/are very excited.  We got there and chose a journal to write in.  Luke was so excited to find a Mickey and Minnie one.... while he was sick he was really into Roadster Racers and gave everyone a name.... Camilla is Minnie, Liv is Daisy... Chad is Goofy... I'm Donald... and of course he's Mickey.

We each brought something to introduce ourselves to the class and Camilla was not going to do it.  She had tears and it wasn't going to... So I introduced her and she sat better listening to everyone else.  It was so fun to see her get more comfortable and she loved writing about her Elsa doll that she brought with her... one because "she is a princess."

Reading her writing to Chad.

Alivia shared her bio poem with the class all on her own and ate the blueberry lemon loaf cake (costco) and thought it was the best thing ever.  Luke also had his weight in fruit snacks and Camilla thought the croissants were the best.

At the end we each had a paper for us to write our thoughts about the class... and then we organized them into a poem.  Camilla was ready to adjust and line them up.

They are sad we are missing the next class because we will be out of town.  It was a delightful time.
