A Lake Morning.

Luke- "we are going out for the whole day?" no.. just the morning.  "A long morning?" Sure...

On the way I rolled down the window to throw my gum and made a poor choice... the window wouldn't go up and I felt like Logan in Scott's jeep.  It didn't go back up that day but when he went to fix it it did so that was nice.

Just watching....

Logan was first up.

Alivia was excited to get out there.

She pops right up and goes in and out of the wake on her claimed "goofy" side easily.

She went back and forth and then decided to commit going out toe side...

she kept working at it and got it...

They're always ready to jump.

Chad's turn.... riding switch. He listened to Grandma's instructions to Livy to smile out there.

and then Chad had the ride of his life.... went out toe side and was riding... and while riding switch, switched to regular and kept on riding....

Any one coming in or going out is a chance to jump for a bit.  The kids always take advantage of it.  Some tried to talk Milla into wakeboardin but she stayed firm on her no.

Jumping... With such nice water I figured I could go.... Camilla wanted to make sure I had the rope.

Everyone back in the boat....

Luke acted like he wanted to come with me... but he didn't really....

So it was my turn...

I even fell... Grandma pointed out I haven't done anything to allow myself to fall in a long time.  I even went twice... and went out and in the wake... and that was about enough fun.

I had decided to jump and let go... then i thought i could land it... but it was too late to change my initial thought....

We had tried to convince Camilla... then Logan pretended to throw her out....

Luke and Camilla had waited and waited to just swim... it was time....

Camilla grabbed the rope so she got a little practice about setting up to wakeboard.

Luke thought that looked like fun... so they combined and Camilla would swim him out...

and then they "rode" in...

Dancing off the boat...

an attempt to have a same time jump.... it wasn't really successful as everyone wanted to be pushed off.

Getting thrown off is very fun...

They voted to blow up the tube again... Luke could not go because he had his job to do... which is to pull in the rope.
Camilla was a little concerned still....

Trying to convince Livy to be super safe....

"a little bit faster" just that much...

and then we needed to go a bit faster... because that's the whole point.

Camilla wasn't thrilled about it...

Alivia trying to keep her on...

She put her leg on top of her to keep her on the tube.

"Stay on the tube!"

Then Luke got to do his favorite job....

Liv went for a ride on her own...

and the boat driver made amends.... but Camilla plays hard.

As we go Luke just relaxes and his head turns and sometimes he closes his eyes.....

Just stretching out there....

Camilla was ready to go again... and for some reason I was included in the deal.

faster?

a little bit....

we convinced Luke to come with us... that he could do his job from the tube too...

Grandma wanted a picture of everyone... but Liv thought it was boring....and wouldn't put her head up... so I gave a push with my foot...

and then she was gone....

She was not happy about it... but her head came up.

and then Camilla was a new girl... ready for all the tricks.

and Luke too.

one last swim?

practicing dives...

the kids were ready for a tube ride... a good one.

and they had a good flying ride.... and thought it was great...

What's that?

If we would have read all the signs on the tunnel hike then we would have known.. good thing Grandpa did and told us this is where they made the concrete and then put it on the train and went through the tunnels to the dam.

We stood in the shade of the sign and read it... Luke told us what all the rules said.  We watched chaos at the dock and all the fishing boats and jet skis bang into the dock over and over again.

Grandma walked up for to throw the trash and something and got in the suburban with Chad.  On the way she found the cutest little truck and trailer and so on our way up we went and saw it.
Luke got down close to look at it....

It didn't take long after we dropped off the boat and they were out.
