The 2nd White Dress.

the baptism one... I had to explain the three white dresses to the girls....

Camilla has been dying for the last year to get her baptism dress.  We check Dillards clearance center a lot because they have had a lot of pretty white dresses.... but none of them seemed the one or we weren't ready to commit.

And then came Thursday... and they had a few different choices.... We went back in search of other dresses for church because a lot were $7.99.. and of course Milla went straight for the white dresses.

She tried on the dress she chose first.... and just glowed.  "I think i want this one."
So I had her try on a few more.....

She looked... she swayed a bit and would hold it out... and then critique it.

The one she wanted was the only one in its size and had a couple of little strains on it and also marked at the mark down price of $30.... The other ones in the same style were $7.99... so I made a deal if it was that price we could get it and risk trying to get it out.....

When we got to the counter the lady said that price is not right... Camilla checked with me to make sure what that really meant....

and then carried her dress home and we crossed our fingers it would come out... and after just a light rubbing of detergent it was gone.

She tried it on again before we tried to wash it out....

With a wash, a good iron, it's the perfect elegant little dress for our Camilla.  The $8 price tag seemed the right price for an 8 year old.
